Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 September 2026

The short version: the data is yours to use for your own investing and your own work, but not yours to republish or resell. The longer version follows.

Who you are contracting with

Your agreement is with InvestorData AS, org. nr. 932 559 226. These terms apply when you use investordata.no and the InvestorData application.

Your account

  • An account is personal. Do not share your login, and take reasonable care to keep others out of it.
  • Teams are welcome, but each person needs their own account — we price for that, and it works out better than one shared login. Get in touch and we will sort it.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Subscriptions and payment

  • Plans are billed monthly or annually. Annual billing is charged for the year ahead and is cheaper per month; monthly billing renews each month.
  • An upgrade takes effect immediately and is charged pro rata. A change to a smaller plan, or from annual to monthly billing, takes effect when the period you have already paid for ends — you keep what you have paid for until then.
  • We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Tell us within 30 days of paying and we refund in full.
  • You can cancel at any time. The subscription then runs to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew.

Sonar stocks

Paid plans include Sonar for a number of stocks, and you choose which. An unlock lasts 30 days and cannot be released early or moved to another stock during that period — otherwise a one-stock plan would be an all-stocks plan used one at a time, and the number would mean nothing.

If you move to a smaller plan you keep the stocks you have already unlocked until their 30 days run out. You simply cannot unlock new ones until you are back within your plan’s limit.

What you may and may not do with the data

  • Use it freely for your own investment decisions, your own analysis and your own work.
  • Do not republish or redistribute lists, exports or bulk data. Individual figures may be quoted publicly if you credit InvestorData as the source.
  • Do not scrape the service, circumvent access limits, or resell access to it.
  • If you work in media and want to use our data in reporting or an investigation, get in touch — we are usually happy to help, and it is easier when we know.

Accuracy, and what we do not promise

The data comes from Euronext, Oslo Børs and Norwegian public registers, and we work hard at getting it right. It can still contain errors, gaps or delays, and register data reflects what was registered rather than the whole truth about who owns what.

Nothing on InvestorData is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell. Decisions you make are yours, and InvestorData AS is not liable for losses arising from your use of the data or the insights built on it.

Intellectual property

The application, its design, and the analysis and derived metrics we build on top of the register data belong to us. The underlying public register data does not, and we make no claim to it.

Your business as a reference

If you use InvestorData for a business — through a team account, or an account your employer pays for — we may name that business and show its logo as a customer reference: on our website, in presentations and in other marketing material. We will not say more than that the business uses InvestorData.

If you would rather we did not, write to hei@investordata.no. We then take the name and logo off the website and out of new material.

Changes, suspension and termination

We may change these terms; material changes are communicated by email before they apply, and you may cancel if you do not accept them. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and will say why.

Governing law

Norwegian law applies, and disputes belong to the Norwegian courts. We would very much rather sort it out over email first.
