A note from the team behind it

We started InvestorData because the Norwegian stock market is not transparent enough β€” especially for small and mid-sized investors without a Bloomberg terminal.

We want to give you the information you are missing, so you can invest better with less risk.

A more transparent market is a fairer market for Norwegian investors. Thank you for being part of it.

β€” JΓΈrgen & the team

2018First to put the shareholder lists in the hands of everyday investors.
2021First to expand with the top 50 largest trades, every day.
2023Worked with journalists to expose the stock trading of the close associates of Norwegian politicians. Triggered a political crisis. Oops.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the data come from, and how often is it updated?+

We buy our data from Euronext (Oslo BΓΈrs). It is expensive, but because every customer shares the cost we can pass it on to you at a sensible price.

Share trades settle on T+2. A trade executed on Monday is finally settled on Wednesday, and only then does it stand in the shareholder register. The file with Monday's trades reaches us late on Wednesday night, and our algorithms process it within minutes.

This applies to everyone, professionals included: T+2 is the settlement itself, not a delay on our side.

Is this inside information?+

No. All data is based on public registers. We structure and analyze information available to everyone β€” just faster and deeper than anyone else.

Which stocks are covered?+

Every stock listed on Oslo BΓΈrs with a Norwegian ISIN (starting with "NO"). A few companies with a primary listing abroad are not covered.

What if it turns out not to be for me?+

Every subscription comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Tell us within 30 days of paying and we refund in full β€” no questions, no notice period. You can also cancel at any time; the plan then runs to the end of the period you have paid for.

Owner risk
Who owns the stock β€” and what are they doing? We guide you through what the owners are doing, and what it means for your investment.

The largest owners often trade before the news breaks.

They know more than most β€” about the market, the company and the product alike. Until now there has been no way to track and understand your owner risk. With Sonar you get the full picture.
